As the new year began, I shifted my focus to my main priorities for January. Due to the fact, that I do not have a mentor yet, I began prioritizing finalizing my top choices and contacting individuals to finish up interviews and finalize my choices. As I began ranking my mentor choices, mentally took note of who I would be comfortable working with and who I would be able to gain more insights out of. These 2 factors are now my main qualifying players in conducting interviews and ranking my potential mentors.
In the coming week, I will begin constructing my Final Product Proposal and Calendar, meaning I will need to officially decide what I would like to develop for my final product and how I will connect it to my main cause and research. Within the independent study and mentorship program my main focus is on how to increase client satisfaction and engagement within the scope of project management. Initially, for my original work, I developed a pamphlet and website based on project management, however within the website portion I included a blog portion in which I expanded my knowledge on the topic of how students (current generation) can get involved. To me, instead of finding ways to tackle it in the given movement, I aim to tackle it from the beginning because it starts with how the project manager got interested and how they will implement that ambition to their stakeholder or client.
