This previous week in ISM, I began finishing up what my display board will look like and how I will be presenting it to the public. From customizing the logos to creating pictures, I was able to effectively showcase what I have been learning about project management through my research and development of my original work. My display board design correlates with the image I create through my work and website, from a minimalist yet classy tone, I was able to showcase my interpretation of what project management is in terms of having a focus on clients. Since my focus on ism is client initiatives, I wanted my board to appeal to the viewers thus creating eye catching theme and display.
As this new week progresses, I hope to ask a professional whom I was able to get a generous amount of information and insight to on the large spectrum of project management, to be my mentor. After carefully going through my interview assessments and notes, I decided on this person, because of how comfortable I was when I was interviewing them and also how they guide me through viewing my goals through different perspectives. I hope through this mentorship process I will be able to gain real-hand experience on the professional life of a project manager but also extend my approach on what I would be wanting to do for my final product.
